Wellness is a state of optimal health and well-being that is geared towards increasing an individual’s maximal potential. This life-long process of seeking maximal potential of personal wellness is to continuously improve your movement towards enhancing your physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, and environmental well-being.
This course is designed to understand concepts within health and wellness, increasing our awareness with others and the world around us. Our team will be working together daily in order to reach our own personal and social wellness.

Creating physical wellness for generations
This course is designed to incorporate learning movement through team sports, outdoor activities, and other forms for holistic enhancement. Students will not only develop their skills in sportsmanship but also their writing skills within the classroom. They will have the opportunity to develop a sense of individuality as well as work in team building situations, using a variety of subjects to conquer the task at hand. Students will also begin to understand how cardiovascular and strength training activities affects their body by using target heart rate calculations, focusing on their individual "zones" for individual progression.
